The DjangoPack™ Dog Carrier Backpack and DjangoTote™ Dog Carrier Bag were not designed for in-flight or under-seat use, and therefore do not meet standard airline carrier specifications.

Both DJANGO pet carriers were intentionally created for life’s other adventures — from daily commutes and road trips to hikes, errands, and weekend getaways. The DjangoPack™ offers ergonomic, hands-free comfort for outdoor adventures, while the DjangoTote™ is a structured, stylish pet carrying tote for everyday use.

Every DJANGO product has a unique size chart which is displayed on the product page. To ensure a pawfect fit, please measure your dog and consult the size chart before ordering.

The most important measurement for determining harness size is your dog’s chest girth — the circumference around the widest part of your dog’s ribcage, typically just behind the front legs. Neck girth and body length can also help confirm a comfortable fit, especially for dogs with longer bodies or broader chests.

The Tahoe No Pull Dog Harness, for example, is available in sizes S–XXL and is a favorite amongst dachshunds, corgis, Labradors, and golden retrievers alike. Likewise, the Whistler Winter Dog Coat is loved by dogs of all sizes — from dachshunds to Vizslas to Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers!

Yes — we offer free shipping on all U.S. orders over $50. Once your order value is above $50, you’ll see the free shipping option automatically appear at checkout.

Most U.S. orders ship within 1–2 business days. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 2–5 business days, depending on your location and selected shipping method. Orders are shipped from our East Coast warehouse.

For international orders (including the U.K. and Europe), we ship via USPS International. USPS estimates transit times between 7–21 business days, although most customers receive their orders within 1–2 weeks. Delivery times can vary depending on customs processing and local postal services.

Yes! International orders are placed like any other djangobrand.com order. Once you put your items in your cart and confirm your shipping address on our standard checkout page, USPS international shipping rates will be automatically calculated.

Please keep in mind that there may be additional non-U.S. VAT and/or customs fees upon import, depending on your country of residence and your total order value. We recommend confirming these possible amounts ahead of order placement by checking your country's tax and customs policies for goods sent from abroad. 

Yes, absolutely! We gladly offer free exchanges on all U.S. orders within 30 days of order delivery. Our priority is that you love the items you order and they fit your dog beautifully. To initiate an exchange, please email hello@djangobrand.com.

For non-U.S. exchanges, customers are required to ship back the items via their local post office or courier. We are unable to provide free, prepaid return labels for international orders. Once we receive the exchange item, we'll ship out the new replacement item.

Our priority is that you love your DJANGO products and they work for you and your dog beautifully. If for any reason you need to return an item, you have 30 days from order delivery to initiate a return and receive a refund. To initiate a return, please email us at hello@djangobrand.com and include your order number.

Is there a return cost?

Yes, the only cost associated with a return is the return shipping label. This cost is based primarily on the weight and size of the package. For smaller items like harnesses, collars, and leashes, the return shipping fee is typically around $6–$7. For larger items such as the DjangoPack™ Dog Carrier Backpack or DjangoTote™ Dog Carrier Bag, the return label cost usually ranges from $10–$15 due to the increased weight and larger box required for safe return. This amount is simply deducted from your refund once the return is processed.

We do our best to keep return costs as low as possible and are always here to help if you have any questions about your return.

What if my dog has worn the item?

We encourage customers to try on items at home, but we kindly ask that all return items are new, unaltered, unwashed, and dog hair free (a lint brush works great at removing dog hair!). 

What if I receive a defective item?

All our items undergo comprehensive quality control by a third-party company and are vigorously inspected for production defects before reaching our customers. If you receive an item that is not up to your standards, email us at hello@djangobrand.com. We'll immediately help you with a return or exchange.

If damage was caused by inappropriate use or treatment of the product, please know that no refund will be provided. This also applies to damage caused by wear and tear.

Upon receipt of the returned item(s), we will ship a new replacement item(s) to you. Shipping, taxes, and duties' costs on replacing faulty or damaged items will not be charged to you after the initial delivery. We reserve the right to refuse returns that are sent without the original order number and proof of postage.

Yes — all DJANGO dog apparel (including our insulated dog coats, raincoats, and hoodies) are machine-washable and made to last for years of everyday adventure.

For best results, machine wash in cold water and hang to dry.

If your item includes hook-and-loop closures, place it in a garment bag before washing to protect the material and prevent snagging.

Avoid the dryer — line drying will help your DJANGO gear stay looking like new for years to come.

Our Tahoe and Adventure Dog Harnesses are crafted from premium neoprene, the same high-performance material used in surfer wetsuits. Neoprene naturally repels water and dries quickly, making it ideal for outdoor adventures in all kinds of weather. While not technically 100% waterproof, our neoprene dog harnesses offer superior water resistance and long-lasting comfort in wet and rainy conditions.

All DJANGO dog coats — including the Whistler Winter Dog Coat, Highland Raincoat, and City Slicker Raincoat — are made with durable, water-repellent fabrics. Each outer shell is treated with a long-lasting DWR (durable water-repellent) coating, which is applied to the interior of the main fabric to help prevent it from washing off over time. This design keeps your dog dry, warm, and comfortable in light rain and snow.

To keep your dog backpack carrier looking its best:

• Exterior and interior: Wipe clean with a damp cloth as needed.
• Removable zipper bed cover: Remove the cover from the sturdy insert. Machine wash in a garment bag (to protect the hook-and-loop closure) and on a gentle cycle with cold water. Line dry only. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron.

For best results, hand wash your DJANGO dog harness in cold water using a mild detergent. Gently scrub any dirty areas, then thoroughly air dry before your pup’s next adventure.

Avoid machine washing or tumble drying to preserve the harness’s premium materials, hardware, and vibrant color.
