DJANGO Terms of Service

1. About DJANGO and these Terms
This website, djangobrand.com, is operated by DJANGO, LLC, doing business as DJANGO (“DJANGO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our business mailing address is 200 Chester Ave, Ste 1 Moorestown, NJ 08057.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and purchases you make directly through it. Please read them before placing an order.
Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, and any product-specific purchase conditions disclosed before checkout also apply to your order. Product-specific conditions control where they expressly address a particular purchase. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority.
Purchases from Amazon, a retailer, or another third-party seller are governed by that seller’s purchase terms, together with any applicable DJANGO warranty and rights provided by law.
2. Eligibility and account information
To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old, have reached the age of majority where you live, and have legal authority to enter into a purchase agreement.
You agree to provide accurate contact, billing, shipping, and payment information and to update your account information when necessary. You must be authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order.
If you create an account, take reasonable steps to protect your login information. Contact us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without authorization.
3. Product information and availability
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, measurements, prices, and availability information. Colors may appear differently depending on your screen, and minor manufacturing variations may occur. These variations do not excuse a product that is defective or materially different from its description.
Please review the product’s sizing information, intended use, care instructions, and any applicable weight or dimensional limits before purchasing. Our team can help with product questions at hello@djangobrand.com.
Availability may change. If we cannot fulfill your order, we will notify you and refund any amounts paid for the unfulfilled portion.
4. Prices, payments, and orders
The applicable currency, product prices, shipping charges, and taxes collected by us are displayed before you complete checkout.
By submitting an order, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown. Payment-provider or financing terms may apply separately if you choose those services.
We will send an order confirmation to the email address you provide. We may decline or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, such as unavailable inventory, unsuccessful payment, suspected fraud, a legal restriction, or a material pricing or listing error, subject to applicable law. If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the corresponding amount.
If an error materially affects your order, we will contact you with the corrected information and any available options. We will not increase the agreed price or substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
Price changes apply to future purchases and do not change the price of an existing order.
5. Preorders and backorders
Products offered for preorder or backorder will be identified before purchase. Any estimated shipping date or window shown for your order refers to shipment, unless expressly described as a delivery estimate.
Unless the product page states otherwise before checkout, payment for a preorder is collected when you place the order. You may cancel an unshipped preorder at any time for a full refund of the amount paid for the canceled preorder, including shipping charges attributable solely to that item. If we cannot ship within the timeframe communicated for your order, we will notify you, provide a revised estimate when available, and explain your options to agree to the delay or cancel for a refund. We will obtain any consent required by applicable law and cancel and refund the affected order when legally required. Agreeing to these Terms is not advance consent to an indefinite shipping delay.
If your order combines available and preorder items, the shipment arrangements disclosed before purchase apply. We will not impose additional shipping charges without your agreement.
6. Shipping and delivery
Available shipping methods, charges, and estimated timelines are described in our Shipping Policy and at checkout. Processing time is separate from transit time unless expressly stated otherwise. Product-specific preorder or backorder estimates take priority over ordinary processing estimates.
Delivery estimates may be affected by carrier operations, weather, customs, or other circumstances. We remain responsible for providing any notices, cancellation options, refunds, or other remedies required by law.
Please check your delivery address carefully and contact us immediately if it needs correction. We will try to accommodate changes before shipment.
For missing, damaged, or incorrectly delivered orders, contact us so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution. Your rights are not automatically extinguished when we hand a parcel to a carrier or when a tracking record shows delivery.
For international orders, any responsibility for import duties, taxes, or customs charges not collected at checkout will be disclosed before purchase, as required by applicable law.
7. Returns, exchanges, and refunds
Our voluntary return policy generally allows eligible returns requested within 30 days of delivery. Begin through our Exchanges & Returns page, or contact hello@djangobrand.com for assistance.
Under that policy, returned products must meet the condition and packaging requirements stated in our Refund Policy. A brief indoor fitting is permitted if the item remains in returnable condition.
For ordinary change-of-mind returns, return-label charges and treatment of original shipping costs follow the policy disclosed when you purchased. Items clearly identified as Final Sale before purchase are excluded from our voluntary change-of-mind return program.
If an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us promptly. DJANGO covers the applicable return and replacement shipping costs described in our Refund Policy.
Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider posting times may vary.
The 30-day period, Final Sale designation, packaging requirements, and other voluntary return conditions do not limit rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.
8. Additional consumer rights
Depending on where you live and the laws applicable to your purchase, you may have additional rights concerning cancellation, delivery, defective goods, refunds, and warranties.
Where EU/EEA or UK distance-selling rules apply, you generally have a statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase by notifying us within 14 days after delivery, subject to applicable exceptions. You may notify us by emailing hello@djangobrand.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel and sufficient information to identify your order. You generally then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
For an applicable statutory withdrawal, we will reimburse the payments required by law, including qualifying standard outbound delivery costs, within the legally required timeframe. Where permitted, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first.
You are responsible for direct return costs only where we properly disclosed that responsibility before purchase and the law permits it. Any deduction for diminished value will be limited to what the law allows for handling beyond what is necessary to examine the goods.
Statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods are separate from change-of-mind returns. Nothing in these Terms removes those rights or makes them dependent on product registration.
9. Product use and pet safety
Use DJANGO products only for their intended purposes and follow the instructions, fitting guidance, care requirements, and warnings supplied with the product.
Check fit and inspect products regularly, including straps, stitching, buckles, clips, and zippers. Stop using an item if it is damaged or no longer functions safely. Supervise your pet appropriately and account for your pet’s behavior, health, size, and comfort.
Sizing tools and general product guidance assist with selection but cannot assess every animal or situation. Consult your veterinarian when your pet’s health or mobility raises questions about a product’s suitability.
Do not assume a product is suitable for vehicle restraint, airline travel, flotation, climbing, or another specialized safety purpose unless its description expressly states that suitability.
These precautions do not waive your rights concerning defective products or DJANGO’s legal responsibilities.
10. Promotions, discounts, bundles, and gifts
Promotions are subject to the eligibility requirements, qualifying purchase amounts, dates, availability, and other conditions disclosed with the offer.
Any restrictions on combining offers, treatment of bundle returns, or conditions affecting promotional gifts must be disclosed before purchase. We will not impose an undisclosed gift charge or refund deduction.
We may change or end an offer prospectively. Changes do not remove benefits already earned under an accepted order, except where a lawful cancellation or clearly disclosed condition applies.
11. Privacy, Shopify, and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared and how to exercise available privacy rights.
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the commerce platform supporting our website and purchases. Personal information is shared with Shopify and other service providers to operate the store and provide services. These providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Where we enable Shopify services that use information about your interactions with other merchants and Shopify, those services may also process that information as described in our Privacy Policy and Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.
We may send communications needed to process your order, provide support, address safety issues, or administer your account.
Accepting these Terms does not itself constitute consent to promotional emails, marketing texts, or nonessential cookies. Any consent required for those purposes will be requested separately. You may withdraw marketing consent using the unsubscribe method provided or by contacting us. Necessary order and service communications may continue.
12. Reviews, photographs, and other submissions
You retain ownership of reviews, photographs, and other content you submit.
When you intentionally submit content for public display through our review or community features, you grant DJANGO a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, and display that content for those features, including through service providers operating them. Formatting changes will not materially alter your meaning.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content. Do not submit unlawful material, someone else’s private information without permission, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
We may moderate submissions for those reasons, spam, or irrelevance. We will not prohibit or penalize honest reviews because they are negative. Any use of your submission in a separate advertising campaign will require permission covering that use.
Private customer-service messages are not public submissions under this section.
13. Website content and acceptable use
DJANGO’s website content, branding, photographs, and designs belong to DJANGO or its licensors, except where otherwise identified. You may use the website for lawful personal shopping and informational purposes. Other uses require permission unless permitted by law.
You must not use the website to commit fraud, impersonate others, distribute malicious software, access systems without authorization, or materially disrupt the service.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements. An access restriction does not eliminate your rights concerning an existing order or a refund owed to you.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Those websites have their own terms and privacy practices.
14. Website availability, warranties, and liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every technical error will be prevented.
Product warranties, express product commitments, and statutory consumer guarantees remain subject to their terms and applicable law. The voluntary return period does not determine the duration of those rights.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DJANGO is not liable for business losses, such as lost business profits or commercial opportunities, arising from use of products sold for personal consumer use.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These Terms do not waive claims or remedies that applicable product-safety, warranty, or consumer-protection law preserves.
15. Governing law and resolving concerns
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, UNITED STATES, except that this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law applicable to you as a consumer.
If you have a concern, please contact hello@djangobrand.com so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us is not a prerequisite to exercising a legal right or meeting a filing deadline.
Disputes may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms removes any right you have to bring a claim in your local courts or to contact a consumer-protection authority.
16. Changes and general provisions
We may update these Terms and will identify the effective date of the revised version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain agreement to material changes.
The Terms and purchase conditions applicable when you placed an order continue to govern that order unless we agree otherwise or the law requires a change. Updated Terms do not retroactively remove accrued rights.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
