Thank you for choosing the DjangoPack™ Dog Carrier Backpack! This quick setup guide will help you fully open your carrier, secure the interior bed, adjust the support straps, and use the optional top support panel for added structure and airflow.

Step 1 : After unpacking your DJANGO pet carrier backpack from its protective wrapping, open and fully expand the backpack body and base by loosening the rear loading straps. The rear loading straps are located on the exterior bottom of the backpack carrier and are designed to attach a jacket, dog blanket, or even a sleeping bag.
Step 2: Secure the gray quilted bed to the interior base of the backpack using the hook-and-loop fasteners.
Step 3: Your DJANGO pet carrier backpack has two adjustable black straps located on the lower sides of the backpack interior. These straps provide support for the backpack base and ensure your pet is always riding comfortably and parallel to the ground. Loosen and/or adjust these straps as needed so the backpack base is parallel to the ground. Secure loose strap ends via the elastic band.
Wipe clean the pet backpack carrier exterior and interior as needed. Both of these have a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that allows rain and moisture to bead up and roll off. The DWR finish also makes our premium fabrics easy to wipe clean.
Your DJANGO pet carrier backpack has a strong base insert wrapped in a quilted zipper cover. This quilted zipper cover can be removed and machine washed as needed. For best results, machine wash the zipper cover separately via a delicate cycle and cold water.
