Thank you for choosing the DjangoPack™ Dog Carrier Backpack! This quick setup guide will help you fully open your carrier, secure the interior bed, adjust the support straps, and use the optional top support panel for added structure and airflow.

Step 1 : After unpacking your DJANGO pet carrier backpack from its protective wrapping, fully open and expand the backpack body and base by loosening the rear loading straps. These straps are located on the exterior bottom of the carrier and are designed to hold a jacket, dog blanket, or other lightweight adventure essentials.
Step 2: Secure the gray quilted bed to the interior base of the backpack using the hook-and-loop fasteners.
Step 3: Your DJANGO pet carrier backpack has two adjustable black support straps located on the lower sides of the backpack interior. These straps help support the backpack base and keep your pet riding level and comfortably. Loosen or adjust the straps as needed until the backpack base is parallel to the ground. Secure any loose strap ends with the elastic keeper.
Step 4: Insert the optional top support panel into the top interior pocket for added structure, airflow, and a more open shape. When not in use, secure the optional top support panel flat against the back wall using the hidden magnets.
Step 5: Place your pet inside the backpack and attach the interior safety leash to your pet’s harness. For your pet’s safety, never attach the safety leash to a collar. Adjust the shoulder, sternum, and waist straps for a secure, comfortable fit, then make sure your pet is settled and the backpack base remains level before you head out on your next adventure.
Wipe clean the backpack exterior and interior lining as needed. Both feature a durable water-repellent finish that helps rain and moisture bead up and roll off, while also making the premium fabrics easy to clean.
Your DJANGO pet carrier backpack includes a strong base insert wrapped in a quilted zipper cover. The quilted cover can be removed and machine washed as needed. For best results, machine wash the cover separately on a delicate cycle with cold water, then air dry completely before placing it back inside the backpack.
Do not machine wash the full backpack. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean, or tumble dry.
